Meet the Stellar Café – a 2m square parasol designed to be used on busy café or pub terraces. This parasol uses a simple and classic opening mechanism, similar to a regular umbrella, which can be operated with the use of one hand, permitting the canopy to be closed over the height of the table. The high-end aluminium materials used ensure a heavy commercial usage and very little time and effort to look after your parasol. The components are designed to be easily interchangeable and the Spuncrylic canopy will have a great visual impact if you choose to print it with your logo.

Details

This parasol is one of the economic choices you can get. However, it’s not a cheap product. One of its main features is the classic opening system similar to a hand umbrella. Made from high quality fabric, this 2m square parasol comes with a rust resistant and fade proof aluminium pole which has an automatic push button.

Operation

The opening is as simple as just pushing up the runner until it clicks into position, much like a traditional umbrella. To lower the parasol, you simply press the release button and it will gently close down.

Materials Used

The frame – the frame and fittings are made with aluminium alloy and powder coated in Black, to keep them rust and scratches resistant. The pole is 38mm diameter, 3mm thick, the 4 ribs are 2mm thick, and all parts and fittings of the parasol are easily interchangeable, without having to dismember the whole structure.
The canopy – the Spuncrylic canopy used for this model provides a great shade in the sunny days with a UV protection factor of 50+ and can equally shelter against rain, as it is water repellent. Bases

For this model we recommend a 50 kg base, to make sure your parasol can withstand high speed winds and won’t fall off. There are three material choices – concrete, granite and plinthit depending on the style you like or the budget.

Usage

The Stellar Café, as the name suggests, was designed for cafés, pubs or restaurants that have smaller terraces and tables made to hold a centre pole parasol. This stunning umbrella is the perfect space saver. A practical 2m square parasol, light weight and easy to store.
Equally you can enjoy it in your home garden, if you don’t require a large shade.

Spuncrylic®

Spuncrylic® is a polyester which has been through a process called solution dying. Solution dying is a technique used to add colour to a synthetic fibre. Solution dying ensures colour is all through each thread before its woven, guaranteeing a higher quality and more vibrant colour. Solution dying gives polyester a high-level resistance to fading from direct sunlight. Spuncrylic® possesses excellent stain resistance and is water repellent. Spuncrylic® offers an affordable canopy option which provides resistance to all weather conditions. Spuncrylic® delivers a *UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) of at least 50. *UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor), Indicates the fraction of the sun’s ultraviolet rays that penetrate fabric. Example, Material with a UPF of 50, allows just 1/50th of the sun’s UV radiation to reach your skin. The higher the UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor), the greater the protection offered. All the premium parasols sold on the Shade specialists website are built to last, which is why we use Spuncrylic for our choice of material opposed to a standard polyester cover which fades in some cases after just a single season.
