Materials Used
The frame – To prevent rust and corrosion, the side arm and frame are made from aluminium that was chemically powder coated or anodized for extra strength. This also makes the material more resistant to scratches, water, fading and allows a choice of colours to be possible. See ‘Technical Data’ for more.
- Anodising – the chemical process to produce thick oxide coatings for aluminium, improving its resistance to corrosion, or create a decorative coloured layer.
- Powder coating – similar to anodising, this chemical process creates a textured finishing to aluminium, increasing resistance.
The canopy – able to filter a high amount of the sun’s UV rays (UPF +80). The canopy is made from acrylic, a hard-wearing material – tear, fade and wind resistant, water and oil repellent. 12 colours are available for the canopy and we can easily print your company’s logo to promote your business.
Opening Mechanism
Quattro T has a gliding wagon mounted on the pole which makes possible an easy operation of this parasol with one move and one hand. The gas spring that compensates the weight of the umbrella along with the other bits and pieces are made from stainless steel to ensure your parasol will be long lasting.
Shapes and Sizes
Available in both round (3.5m or 4.2m) and square (2.5 or 3m) shapes, it allows a more versatile positioning and will provide you with enough shade to protect you from the sun’s harmful rays and give your outdoor space a classy touch.
Fixation
Wall brackets – the versatile Quattro T can be mounted onto the wall using 2 rotating wall brackets on top and bottom of the pole. It is designed to turn optimally when mounted on a corner (300°). (*) Available only by phone orders for the moment.
Regular weighted base – 90 x 90cm in dimensions, it can reach up to 200 kg with tiles and it’s the best option to have if you may require to move the shade from one place to another or to store your parasol when not in use. Includes 300-degree rotating mechanism. Weights can be included at an extra cost.
In-ground base with sleeve – If you do not require a wall mounted cantilever and you want a regular one, the in-ground base with upper sleeve is one of the strongest fixations available. Ideal if you wish a permanent fixation of the parasol. It goes 50 cm deep in to the ground and comes with the rotating mechanism included.
Accessories
Add even more life to your parasol by protecting it against mould, fading or water with a solution-dyed polyester protection cover. Easy to operate with a zipper, highly efficient when you store your parasol.
Usage -
With a truly versatile design, the Quattro T was made with the possibility to be wall-mounted and shade narrow areas where the space beneath is limited. This way, it proved that it can be a great partner for restaurants, pubs, clubs or bars in the commercial sector that have tables on the side-walk, a more narrow terrace or they simply want to bring their shade closer to the wall.
