The Levante has been masterfully engineered to produce an elegant, sturdy umbrella whilst using the most effective materials for shielding you from the sun.
Operation
One of the main features of any parasol is the ease with which it can be opened and closed. The double pulley and rope mechanism that operates this parasol is designed to be long-lasting and made using high-quality materials. To open the canopy, you have to pull downwards on one side of the rope and it will slowly start opening. To close it, just pull the other end until it’s completely collapsed.
Materials Used
This large garden umbrella was tested in a wind tunnel up to 90 km/h to check the resistance of the frame and canopy. See the video for more details.
The frame – is made from premium, laminated bamboo wood with stainless steel fittings which prevent rusting and ensure it lasts for years.
The canopy – is made using Spuncrylic – a material highly resistant to fade, making the Bambrella Levante an adaptable garden umbrella, handcrafted from high-quality materials.
If required, the ribs can be replaced individually without the need to disassemble the entire structure, and the canopy fabric can be easily removed for maintenance or replacement.
FIXATION
If it’s placed through the middle of the table, you can choose a lighter base – the Granite 30kg.
If your parasol will be free-standing, it should be fixed in a heavy base (50kg) to make sure the wind won’t blow it away. Either concrete or granite, both have a set of handles and optional wheels for transportation.
The strongest fixation available is the in-ground base. This type of fixation will require a hole in the ground (approx. 70-80cm), which will be filled with concrete. It also has a reduced footprint, considerably reducing the tripping hazard.
ACCESSORIES
Protective cover
When stored or not in use, we recommend keeping your parasol in a protective cover. This will increase its life and will better protect it against fading and mould.
Heaters
Can be easily fitted to the central pole, supporting dimensions from 25 to 55 mm. The Heater 1500 is a halogen parasol heater creating a pleasant and warm place under the canopy. Each of the three lamps has 500W power. (*) Available only by phone.
LED Lights
The Bambrella Hanging Light is a useful accessory to have if you want to make the most out of this parasol. Powered by a detachable and rechargeable stick with a dimmer switch and about 6 hours autonomy, you can continue relaxing in the garden even in the evenings. (*) Available only by phone.
