Bambrella Levante Side Wind Bamboo Parasol

Details:

With stylish lines, a smooth look and contemporary design, the Bambrella Levante Side Wind cantilever is perfect for commercial establishments wishing to pamper their customers or ideal for a garden setting to add that touch of class. This stunning laminated bamboo cantilever will be a magnificent focal point in any location.

Operation:

The geared winch system makes this parasol easy to operate: to open the canopy – start turning the handle clockwise until the frame is at maximum position. Continue with this movement and the canopy will begin tilting (maximum 45 degrees). To close it, rotate the winch handle counter-clockwise and your wooden cantilever parasol will start closing.

Materials Used:

We tested the resistance and strength of the wooden frame and canopy in a wind tunnel. As a result the Bambrella Levante Side Wind can withstand winds that reach up to 90 km/h. Watch our testing in action in our video gallery.

The frame – With minimal maintenance, the laminated bamboo frame will never lose its attractive finish. Our parasols are made using top quality materials by highly skilled craftsmen who also ensure all the fittings are of superior stainless-steel quality.

The Canopy – can be easily removed for maintenance or replacement. The canopy fabric is fade resistant with a 50+ UV protection factor.

The ribs – can be replaced individually without the need to disassemble the entire structure.

Bases

For the 3.4 Square and the 3×4 Rectangle the weighted bases are [top base = 2 x 70 kg] / [bottom base = 2 x 30kg concrete sheets]
For 3.5 Round, 3m Square, 2.5 x 3.5 rectangle the weighted base is [2 x 70 kg bamboo]

Shapes and Sizes:

This large cantilever parasol is available in three shapes – round, square and rectangle. The round canopy comes in a 3.5m size whilst the square is available in 3 and 3.4 metres.

If you require a 3m x 4m parasol or a 3x2m, we don’t have 3m x 2m – it’ll be 2.5m x 3.5m rectangular garden parasol for your commercial premises or your home, then the Levante Side Wind may be the ideal option for you. These parasols were wind tunnel tested in order to analyse the durability and strength of the pole and canopy.

The parasols were bolted and secured to the ground. Do not leave any parasol in the open position in winds in excess of 20mph, without being fitted and bolted to the ground by a licensed contractor.

Always close your parasol when not in use and place a protective cover over the top.

Bamcrylic® Parasol Cover Material

Bamcrylic Acrylic is the industry standard for hotels, restaurants and any other hospitality location.

Bamcrylic offers customers:

  • A Acrylic which has been through a process called solution dying, a technique used to add colour to a synthetic fibre.
  • A solution dyed canopy colouring through all layers of the Acrylic thread, guaranteeing more vibrant, longer lasting colour.
  • A high-level of resistance to fading from direct sunlight.
  • A canopy which offers good stain resistance and water repellence.
  • An affordable canopy which provides resistance to all weather conditions.
  • A canopy which delivers a *UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) of at least 50.

*UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor), Indicates the fraction of the sun’s ultraviolet rays that penetrate fabric. Example, Material with a UPF of 50, allows just 1/50th of the sun’s UV radiation to reach your skin. The higher the UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor), the greater the protection offered.

Acrylic Canopy Cover Material

The standard, piece dyed Acrylic is the entry level parasol canopy and one you will find most commonly on parasols available on the high street. The standard Acrylic is a great option if you’re working on a budget. While it only comes with a 1 year warranty, if looked after, it should last well beyond that. Acrylic offers customers:

  • Acrylic is a strong fibre, resistant to creasing and keeps its shape.
  • Acrylic is piece dyed meaning the thread is only coloured on the outside of the canopy, like a radish!
  • Offers an affordable alternative to Bamcrylic
  • Shade Specialists only offer Acrylic covers in two natural colours, beige and natural as darker, stronger colours would be more susceptible to fading over time.

Recasens RECacril® Parasol Cover Material

The acrylic recasens material is the rolls Royce of canopies. Made from strong, hard wearing acrylic material. The recasens canopy offers the top level of protection from the elements Recasens offers customers:

  • A high-performance acrylic fabric of the very highest quality.
  • The very best water resistance and protection from the sun.
  • A matieral used extensively in the boating and marine industries for its strength and durability.
  • An Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of up to +80 according to international standard UV 801.
  • Low reactivity and high stability offering long lasting protection against mold, plus excellent water and oil repellence.
  • An effective sunscreen as they filter a high percentage of ultraviolet radiation.
