The Stellar Aries Aluminium Teak Wood is a 3.0m / 3.5m cantilever parasol, round with a powder coated frame that makes a great visual impact wherever it’s placed. It can also be fitted with a 3m square canopy, depending on your preferences. The canopy is operated by an ‘Easy Slide’ mechanism that allows you to open and tilt your parasol up to 60 degrees using only one hand. To make sure you’ll have shade no matter the time of the day, the anchor base comes with a foot operated swivel mechanism so you’ll have a 360-degree rotating possibility.

Details

The Stellar Aries Aluminium Teak Wood is complete 3.0 / 3.5m cantilever parasol round build to shade and shelter all year round, complementing any outdoor space with its modern design. Either you use it in commercial premises such as beer gardens, pubs or café terraces, or at home, in your garden, this cantilever will be your ideal outdoor friend! With so many features included – like Bluetooth speakers and LED lights, remotely operated or a protective cover for when it’s not in use – no wonder that the Stellar Aries became fast an option to consider by our clients.

Operation

You can operate the Stellar in three ways: you can rotate it, tilt it sideways or on a vertical axis – the ‘Easy Slide’ patented handle makes it really easy to extend and tilt the way you need your shade, up to a 60-degree angle.

The pole rotation is possible due to a foot pedal on the base, that can also be locked in place so the wind won’t spin your cantilever parasol.

Materials Used

The frame and pole – are designed for intense usage, with 100% aluminium alloy, that has been chemically powder coated to add even more resistance to rust, scratches, fade and corrosion. This model has a teak wood finish coating for a more elegant look.

The canopy – it has a high UPF of 50+ and was solution dyed. Available in three colours, but it can also be printed with your logo on demand. Fade and water repellent, easy to replace. Read more in the ‘Canopy’ tab.

Accessories

What’s great about this round cantilever parasol is that it comes with most of its accessories included: a doughnut shape speaker with lights, rotating base and canopy, and a protective cover. Optionally you can have a set of heaters.

Speakers and lights

Mounted onto the middle of the frame. You can easily connect your phone via Bluetooth and listen to your favourite playlist. The lights are adjustable in intensity and the battery has over 6 hours autonomy.

Protective cover

For when your parasol is not in use or you keep it stored. Keeping your cantilever parasol hidden under a synthetic protective membrane when closed, will increase its life far beyond the first year. It protects against water, fading and mould.

Heaters

Three headed parasol heating option can give out 1500 kilo-wats of infrared waves (3 lamps of 500W each) and, similar to the LED system, you can install it in the centre of the frame to create a warm and pleasant space under the canopy. Available by phone.

Shapes and Sizes

The bestselling version of this 3.5m cantilever parasol model is the Round canopy, but, similar to its brother the Stellar Aries Graphite Grey, you can choose the smaller 3m Square canopy.

Fixation

Permanent

If you do not wish to change where your parasol is positioned, then we suggest you use an in-ground type of base, with a protective sleeve. This one requires direct installation into cast concrete (about 60 cm deep) and is the strongest fixation available. If you have a deck – you can opt for the deck plate. You’ll have to fix it to concrete either with special glue or hinges (glue and hinges not included).

Non-permanent

If you may need to change the place where your cantilever parasol is, then we recommend you anchor it with a non-permanent type of fixation – a base with wheels and handle. There are 2 choices available – a plastic base that can be filled with water or sand, reaching up to 160kg, or a base frame with 4 concrete tiles, to which you can add wheels.

Bamcrylic®

  • Bamcrylic® is a Acrylic which has been through a process called solution dying.
  • Solution dying is a technique used to add colour to a synthetic fibre.
  • Solution dying ensures colour is all through each thread before its woven, guaranteeing a higher quality and more vibrant colour.
  • Solution dying gives Acrylic a high-level resistance to fading from direct sunlight.
  • Bamcrylic® possesses excellent stain resistance and is water repellent.
  • Bamcrylic® offers an affordable canopy option which provides resistance to all weather conditions.
  • Bamcrylic® delivers a *UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) of at least 50.

*UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor), Indicates the fraction of the sun’s ultraviolet rays that penetrate fabric. Example, Material with a UPF of 50, allows just 1/50th of the sun’s UV radiation to reach your skin. The higher the UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor), the greater the protection offered.

All the premium parasols sold on the Shade specialists website are built to last, which is why we use Bamcrylic for our choice of material opposed to a standard Acrylic cover which fades in some cases after just a single season. After all, the canopy is the largest and most prominent part of the parasol!

    To be honest, I was surprised by the looks and sturdiness of my newly Stellar Aries parasol. A solid aluminium structure, with a beautiful wood lookalike finish and a base that can be easily transported where you need it. Excellent umbrella, hope to last for many years.
