How Big Are the Curves in a Shade Sail?

Shade sails can be made to any desired size, but sails installed with three or four anchor points will always have curved edges. Keep in mind that the listed dimensions refer to the measurement from triangle eye to triangle eye—not the area covered.

Each side has a curve of approximately 5–6%, so the actual fabric will cover slightly less than the stated size. It’s important to account for this when planning your installation.
